According to statistics, a significant proportion of workplace fires can be attributed to electrical malfunctions. Pursuant to NGM Decree No. 40/2017 (December 4), it is the employer’s responsibility to maintain the safe condition of electrical equipment and devices and to have them inspected regularly.
The experts at Trust Capital will help ensure that your electrical system is not a risk factor, but rather a stable foundation for operational safety.
What types of reviews do we perform for you?
In accordance with current legislation, we provide the following comprehensive examinations:
- Electrical Safety Inspection (VBF):
This combined inspection (formerly known as the “Electrical Safety and High-Voltage Equipment Inspection”) certifies that the electrical system does not pose a risk of electric shock or fire. - Lightning Protection Inspection:
Inspection of the technical condition of the buildings’ lightning protection systems (air terminals, down conductors, grounding electrodes). - Periodic Inspection of Hand Tools:
Annual instrumental inspections of portable power tools, drills, and extension cords, which are critical to the safety of workers performing physical labor.
When is a review required?
Under the terms of the regulation, inspections must be conducted in the following cases and at the following intervals:
- When installing new electrical equipment (initial inspection).
- After an expansion, renovation, or repair, before the facility is put into use.
- Periodically; in general workplaces, usually every 3 years (or at intervals determined by the technology classification).
